Two New Training Programs Added To Credit Union Financial Counseling Lineup

By CU Today Staff —

WASHINGTON--Two new offerings are available to complement the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) Designation, America's Credit Unions announced.

As detailed in a recent America’s Credit Unions Blog post, both the Financial Trauma-Informed Specialist eSchool and Financial Fundamentals Course launched in recent weeks to provide credit union staff with training and resources credit unions have told America’s Credit Unions they are missing.

Together with the Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP), the three courses form a three-tier training progression, starting with the new Financial Fundamentals Course as a baseline, advancing to CCUFC certification through FiCEP, and concluding with the financial trauma eSchool, ACU said.
