ACU/Credit Union Message Gets Full-Page Push On Capitol Hill

By CU Today Staff —

WASHINGTON—America’s Credit Unions is reinforcing its message to lawmakers this week with a full-page advertisement in The Hill as credit union leaders hold hundreds of meetings on Capitol Hill.

The ad, appearing Tuesday on the back cover of The Hill’s 25 Notable Staffers for 2026 print issue and in its event magazine, highlights the credit union difference and argues that protecting credit unions helps keep the American dream accessible and affordable for future generations.

The 25 congressional staffers featured by The Hill will also be recognized at an event this week sponsored in part by America’s Credit Unions. The event recognizes congressional staff members working behind the scenes on Capitol Hill.

The advertising effort coincides with ACU's Congressional Caucus here, where credit union leaders and advocates are meeting with lawmakers and staff to press the industry’s legislative priorities. America’s Credit Unions said it plans to continue amplifying the industry’s message both on Capitol Hill and nationwide.
