At DCUC Annual Conference, Hernandez And Simpson Will Unite For Future-Focused Discussion
By CU Today Staff —
WASHINGTON—Leaders of the two largest national credit union trade organizations will share the stage at the Defense Credit Union Council's 2026 Annual Conference for a discussion focused on the future of the credit union movement.
According to DCUC, the session will focus on opportunities for collaboration, innovation, leadership and industry partnerships, as well as strategies for advancing the credit union mission. The discussion comes as credit unions continue to navigate regulatory changes, competitive pressures and evolving member expectations.
DCUC said the appearance reflects what it characterized as a shared commitment by the organizations to strengthen the credit union industry and enhance value for members. The conference brings together credit union executives, board members and industry partners from across the country.
"I am really happy Scott is taking the time to speak at our conference and sit down for an industry discussion in front of our audience,” stated Hernandez. “Collaboration between trade associations, leagues, and system partners is vital for our industry to succeed, and I know the dialogue between Scott and myself will be productive. You won't want to miss this joint appearance along with many other keynote speakers and government officials. It is not too late to register for the event,"
