Fiserv President Exits Weeks After CEO Shakeup

By CU Today Staff —

MILWAUKEE—Fiserv President Dhivya Suryadevara has resigned, effective July 7, citing "good reason" under the terms of her employment agreement following the company's recent leadership changes, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, PYMNTS reported.

According to PYMNTS, Suryadevara will remain as a non-executive employee through July 31 to support an orderly transition. Her offer letter defines "good reason" to include events such as a change in the company's CEO, a material reduction in compensation or a significant change in responsibilities. Fiserv named Takis Georgakopoulos as CEO on June 15 after former CEO Mike Lyons departed to lead Truist.

PYMNTS noted that Suryadevara joined Fiserv in late 2025 as co-president alongside Georgakopoulos, overseeing Financial Solutions, Sales and Operations after serving as CEO of Optum Financial and Optum Insight at UnitedHealth Group. Earlier in her career, she also held senior leadership positions at Stripe and General Motors.

The company also announced that Andrew Gelb and Srini Krish will serve as interim leaders of its Financial Solutions business, PYMNTS reported. Fiserv said it continues to expect full-year 2026 organic revenue growth of 1% to 3% and adjusted earnings per share of $8 to $8.30.
