Leadership Transition At $367M Mass Bay CU As Kelli Cullen Takes Top Post

By CU Today Staff —

SOUTH BOSTON, Mass.—The $367-million Mass Bay Credit Union has named Chief Operating Officer Kelli Cullen as its next president and CEO, succeeding retiring CEO Terry Dorilas, according to AOL.com.

Cullen assumed the role on April 28 after serving six years as COO and more than 20 years in senior management positions. She is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and completed the Credit Union Executives Society's CEO Institute program.

Board Chair Jeremiah Ahern credited Dorilas with strengthening the credit union during her tenure and said Cullen is well positioned to build on that foundation.

"We are so appreciative of all Terry Dorilas has done to bring the credit union forward, keep it safe and sound, and prepare us for the future," Ahern said in a statement. He added that Cullen understands the institution's market position and will bring new ideas to support future growth.
