America’s Credit Unions Sets 3 Priorities For Final Congressional Push

WASHINGTON--Time in Washington is running out for the current Congress, but America’s Credit Unions has three priorities it is working to advance through the end of the year, the trade group noted.
Members heard the details and prospects for those priorities, as well as additional issues, during a webinar hosted by advocacy leaders Wednesday.
“Our priorities are distinct, but they share a common objective: removing barriers that limit your ability to protect your members and meet their financial needs,” said America’s Credit Unions Senior Vice President of Advocacy Greg Mesack.
America’s Credit Unions’ Advocacy Resource Library contains handouts addressing these three year-end advocacy priorities and how introduced legislation would provide needed solutions.
