CUs Make Final Capitol Hill Push Before Election Recess

By CU Today Staff —

WASHINGTON--The House is in recess, and the Senate is wrapping up business before recessing until after the election, giving credit unions’ face-to-face interaction with policymakers this week extra emphasis, America's Credit Unions noted.

Nearly 500 League and credit union leaders attended Congressional Caucus and also made their way to Capitol Hill to push for credit union priorities, ACU said.

California’s Credit Unions, the Nebraska Credit Union League, Credit Union Association of New Mexico also shared meetings in Washington with their states’ elected officials on social media during the week.
