Vizo Financial Conference Puts Stablecoins, Balance-Sheet Risk & AI In Spotlight

By CU Today Staff —

ASHEVILLE, N.C.—From the potential disruption of stablecoins to signs of rising default risk and the growing role of artificial intelligence, some of the issues reshaping credit union financial management are taking center stage this week at Vizo Financial’s 2026 Financial Conference.

The conference, which opened Wednesday at the Omni Grove Park Inn, includes sessions examining the opportunities and risks presented by stablecoins, how credit unions can get more from assumptions used in asset-liability management modeling, emerging indicators of default risk and balance-sheet strategies. A panel of experts is also offering perspectives on managing balance sheets amid the changing financial environment.

Attendees also were invited to participate in a bonus session featuring a live demonstration of CUltivate AI, a platform designed exclusively for credit unions and governed by organizations within the credit union industry, including Vizo Financial.
