Glory, Velera Partner To Bring Self-Service To Shared Branching
By CU Today Staff —
LISLE, Ill.—Cash automation provider Glory has entered into a strategic partnership with Velera to bring Co-op Shared Branch Express functionality to credit unions using Glory’s TellerConcierge integrated kiosk, allowing members and guest members to conduct common shared-branch transactions through self-service.
The integration will connect Velera’s account-based network with TellerConcierge and allow users to independently complete the seven most common shared-branch transactions. The companies said the technology is designed to give members the option of self-service while maintaining access to branch employees when assistance is needed.
“TellerConcierge was designed to help credit unions modernize the branch without losing the personal service members expect,” said Stratford Dick, senior vice president, product and technical solutions at Glory. “By integrating Velera’s Co-op Shared Branch Network functionality into a self-service experience, we are helping credit unions implement a more efficient branch experience with better access and convenience for members, more capacity for staff to serve members, and lower transaction costs through automation.”
“The Shared Branch Network is central to the credit union promise of access and convenience,” said Amy Evans, senior vice president, Strategic Solutions at Velera. “Through this partnership with Glory, Co-op Shared Branch Express gives participating credit unions a practical way to support shared branch transactions through secure self-service, helping members and guest members complete routine transactions more efficiently while branch teams stay focused on service.”
