TruStage Cancels Discovery 2026 As Cyberattack Recovery Continues

MADISON, Wis.—TruStage has canceled its annual Discovery conference, which had been scheduled for Aug. 27, saying its attention needs to remain on recovery from the cybersecurity attack that has disrupted systems and services since July.
“While we were looking forward to the opportunity to connect with you, our current focus must remain on supporting our recovery efforts and serving our customers and partners,” TruStage said in a message to attendees. The company said key Discovery insights and strategic content instead will be shared through a new thought-leadership series in the coming months. TruStage’s website also confirms the cancellation.
As CUToday.info has reported, TruStage identified the cyberattack July 11 and took its network offline as part of its response, resulting in disruptions affecting credit unions and members. The company has since said the incident has been contained and has been gradually restoring systems and services. TruStage currently says “significant progress” has been made, although some services remain unavailable.
The cancellation comes as TruStage continues working through the broader fallout from the incident. The outage has affected services including claims and some customer access, while litigation has also followed the attack. TruStage has emphasized that systems are being restored carefully and securely as it works to return operations to normal.
