Kaudy Takes Helm As CoVantage CEO
By CU Today Staff —
ANTIGO, Wis.—Matt Kaudy has assumed the role of president and CEO of CoVantage Credit Union, succeeding retiring CEO Charlie Zanayed and becoming only the fourth CEO in the credit union’s 73-year history.
CoVantage said Kaudy’s appointment follows a two-year succession process led by its board of directors. Zanayed served as president and CEO for 13 years.
Kaudy most recently served as executive vice president and chief growth officer at EECU Credit Union in Fort Worth, Texas. CoVantage said he brings more than 20 years of credit union leadership experience, including work in human resources, payments, digital, contact centers, financial centers, marketing and community engagement.
Board Chair Mike Windberg said the board conducted a nationwide search and selected Kaudy because his “experience, values, and leadership approach position CoVantage well for the future.”
The $4-billion CoVantage Credit Union has more than 183,000 members.
