ACU Webinar to Outline Credit Union Year-End Priorities

WASHINGTON--With Congressional Caucus 2026 approaching and the 119th Congress facing limited time to address legislative issues, America’s Credit Unions members can join a webinar for the latest on credit unions’ year-end priorities, ACU reminded.
The webinar is scheduled for Sept. 9 at 2:30 p.m. ET, and registration is now open.
Head of Legislative Advocacy Brad Thaler and Legislative Advocacy Directors Gordon Holzberg and Stephanie Belk will share America’s Credit Unions’ year-end advocacy priorities, which includes protecting consumers from the growing problem of check fraud, updating outdated Bank Secrecy Act SAR and CTR thresholds, and increasing loan maturity limits to provide affordable loan options.
The webinar will also preview what Congress is focused on ahead of the midterms and for the rest of 2026.
