ACU, DOJ Compare Notes On Fast-Evolving Fraud & Scam Threats

WASHINGTON--Connecting member credit unions directly with federal law enforcement efforts to combat fraud and scams, America’s Credit Unions hosted a listening session with the Department of Justice’s Elder Justice Initiative Tuesday.
This is the second session hosted by America’s Credit Unions in recent weeks, the trade group noted.
Participants shared how they protect members, the fraud and scam trends they’re seeing, which government policies are working, and what additional changes would further protect members.
