Trellance Announces Nexus, A Premier Event Connecting Capital, Innovation And Credit Union Leadership
By CU Today Staff —
TAMPA--Trellance Cooperative Holdings, Inc. Tuesday announced Nexus, a new event created for Trellance's Investors Club.
"Nexus will bring together influential investors, visionary companies and industry leaders at the intersection of capital, innovation and opportunity. Created to empower the credit union ecosystem, Nexus will serve as a connection point where capital meets innovation and where high-potential solutions can find the relationships, insight and support needed to scale," Trellance said.
The first event will be held on April 27-29, 2027, at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Nexus and the Investors Club are built around two complementary audiences: Investors and Builders. Investors will include credit unions and strategic partners interested in identifying, evaluating and participating in opportunities that can strengthen the future of financial services. Builders will include software companies, services organizations, CUSOs, fintechs and other innovators developing solutions for the credit union marketplace.
"Both audiences will benefit from access to professionals and industry experts who can bring a practical perspective to investment, commercialization, growth and the unique dynamics of serving the credit union market. Unlike a traditional investment conference or technology showcase, Nexus is designed to encourage participants to learn, connect and collaborate," Trellance said.
Through strategic introductions, executive insights and shared experiences, Nexus will help investors identify and evaluate high-potential opportunities while helping providers form strategic relationships that can empower business success. Investors will also have the opportunity to engage with and learn from other investors, in a comfortable, friendly environment. The event is designed to move beyond traditional networking by creating intentional pathways for investment, adoption, collaboration and long-term impact across the credit union movement. Nexus will be the premier event of the Investment Club in 2027, bringing members together to find and support new opportunities that will create long-term growth for the credit union industry, Trellance explained.
"Nexus reflects Trellance's belief that the future of the credit union movement will be shaped by bringing the right people, ideas and capital together," said Tom Davis, president and CEO of Trellance Cooperative Holdings Inc. "We want to create an environment where investors can learn from other investors, builders can better understand the organizations they hope to serve, and both can benefit from professionals and industry leaders who can help turn opportunities into successful outcomes. Nexus is where the people investing in the future of credit unions meet the people building it."
For Investors, Nexus will provide access to vetted companies, emerging technologies and market intelligence, while also creating an environment where experienced investors can share how they evaluate, structure and negotiate opportunities. Participants will be able to learn from one another, explore opportunities to collaborate or co-invest on deals, and engage directly with investment, legal, valuation, operational and industry professionals who can help them make more informed investment decisions.
For Builders, Nexus will provide direct access to investors, credit union executives and industry influencers who can help accelerate both capital formation and market adoption. Builders will have the opportunity to understand how credit unions and strategic investors evaluate opportunities, what drives their investment decisions and what they look for in potential partners. They can also engage with credit union leaders who can provide product feedback, influence innovation, serve as design partners or customers, and help promising solutions gain traction across the industry. Builders will also benefit from access to professional expertise that can help them navigate growth, investment readiness, deal structure and commercialization, Trellance said.
"The broader objective is to connect promising companies with the capital, customers, strategic relationships, professional expertise and industry influence they need to grow, while giving credit unions greater visibility into and participation in the capabilities that may shape their future. This objective builds directly on the original Nexus goal of connecting companies with resources and relationships that help them grow in ways that benefit credit unions and their members," the company stated.
Additional details about Nexus, including programming and participation opportunities, will be announced soon, Trellance said. To learn more, visit Trellance.com.
