One Year. Zero Payments. Suncoast Brings Back Popular Giveaway

TAMPA, Fla.— Suncoast Credit Union has launched the second year of its "Year of No Payments Giveaway," a promotion that will award three members a full year of either rent, mortgage or car payments.
New members who join the credit union online or at a branch through Dec. 31 will receive one entry into the drawing, while existing members can earn an entry by downloading and logging into the new Suncoast Mobile App. Entries remain active throughout the promotion, with drawings tied to three entry periods running from July through December.
"Our mission at Suncoast Credit Union is to improve the lives of our members and the communities we serve," President and CEO Kevin Johnson said in a statement. "Our giveaway helps ease financial pressures while rewarding the trust our members place in us each day."
The $21.1-billion Suncoast CU introduced the promotion in 2025, when it awarded two members a year without mortgage or vehicle payments. Among the winners was longtime member Jose Garcia of Wesley Chapel, who chose a year of mortgage payments. In addition to the giveaway, Suncoast said members have access to benefits including fee-free checking, surcharge-free ATMs at Publix and Wawa, financial education resources and other member discounts.
