America’s Credit Unions Maps State-By-State AI Requirements

WASHINGTON--A high-level overview of state-level artificial intelligence legislation that may impact credit unions is now available from America’s Credit Unions, the trade group announced.
The new resource contains information and links on current or upcoming laws for each state, as well as links to the statute(s), effective dates, summaries of requirements and prohibitions, and any impact on credit unions.
For states without existing laws, the overview provides information on AI legislation unrelated to financial services and/or the current status of discussions and policy proposals.
The resource is available for America’s Credit Unions members in the Compliance Library and the State Credit Union Issues webpages, under “Artificial Intelligence.”
