United Solutions Adds Blossom Core Platform To Credit Union Tech Portfolio

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — United Solutions Company has formed a strategic partnership with Blossom that adds the company’s core processing platform to USC’s portfolio of technology options for credit unions.
Under the agreement, USC will market, implement and support Blossom’s platform, which combines core processing, digital banking and card processing. USC said the arrangement expands the choices available to credit unions rather than requiring institutions to adapt to a single core platform.
“I like the Blossom product, its management team, and, most importantly, its philosophy. Credit unions are constantly looking for ways to simplify their operations, provide best-of-breed products and services to their members, and reduce costs. Blossom does all three very well,” said Jim Giacobbe, president and CEO of United Solutions Company.
“Why manage multiple vendors, deal with integration challenges, and watch costs increase year after year when you can have one capable, modern platform that provides virtually everything a credit union needs? Core, digital banking, card issuing, all integrated. Blossom has taken that concept even further by manufacturing its own ATMs and kiosks, running proprietary software that is integrated with everything else,” Giacobbe added. "We’ve spent decades helping credit unions evaluate technology vendors. Most are selling versions of the past. Credit unions can certainly spend more money on traditional core platforms. I would rather simplify our operation, lower our costs, and use those savings to provide better loan and share rates to our members. That is ultimately what a credit union should be focused on.”
Blossom said its platform was built cloud-native and designed to support artificial intelligence and digital assets at the core level. The architecture allows AI to work directly with live core data while integrating core banking, digital banking, card processing and other capabilities on a common platform.
“The credit union movement is one of the most compelling ideas in finance, but much of the technology serving it was built for a different era,” said Alex Lopatine, co-founder and CEO of Blossom. “Credit unions are often forced to operate across multiple systems and vendors that were never designed to work together, even as their members increasingly expect seamless digital experiences. We spent six years rebuilding that technology stack alongside credit unions — creating one cloud-native, open and modular platform designed for the AI era. We’re honored that United Solutions chose Blossom after extensive due diligence. Replatforming the industry will require strong partners, and Jim and his team bring decades of experience and trusted relationships across the credit union community.”
