NCUA Board To Reconvene June 24 Amid Pending Crews Nomination

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—NCUA has scheduled an open board meeting for June 24 at 10 a.m. ET, marking the agency's first public board meeting since April 9.
The agenda has not yet been released.
The meeting could be the last open board meeting chaired by NCUA Chairman Kyle Hauptman before the Senate acts on the nomination of John Crews.
Hauptman's board term expired in August 2025, but he has continued serving pending confirmation of a successor. Earlier this year, Hauptman was appointed to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and said he intends to remain at NCUA until a replacement is confirmed by the Senate.
NCUA has not announced what items will be considered at the June 24 meeting.
